Hope all is well with Ed and you...And you're all healed up and back to riding! Thought I would update you on "Ike." He is doing great! I'm trying to get him out and about 4-5 days a week- ponying, round pen work and general "messing with him." He is a smart colt that seems to "think" about the new things he is introduced to. He is cautious, but not explosive. I'm really liking how he moves about the round pen...roll backs and sliding stops seem effortless for him. Will try to provide pics along our travels-next stop is hopping aboard...That will be later fall...Take care.

Just thought I'd write you guys a note about how wonderful the boys are. I just got in from playing around with them a bit, having them bend/giving to pressure on both sides with the halter and what not (all the stuff we worked on all summer) and they both were little rock stars! they remembered it all and we haven't worked on any of that for months! they are the friendliest boys too... just a joy to be around. Nick and I are just chomping at the bit to start working on them again this spring. We are also bringing them along to our week long camping trip with friends this summer down in central Iowa just for the experience and maybe take them on a few short rides.
I hope all is well and you guys and I hope you and your critters are keeping warm!! hope to see you both soon :)"

"Hey guys its been a while since I checked in with you... I figured I'd check in
and let you guys know how the little girl is doing... She got back from the
trainer about 2 weeks ago. She rides like a dream and she is so smart. Took her
on her first trail ride this past week. She didn't spook at anything and she
handled it like a regular pro. Thanks so much for being so patient with me when
I came to get her and stuff. I love her and am extremely satisfied with
everything about her. I can't wait til she's old enough to start on barrels!
She will be a fun one for sure. Hope all is well up there!
